Turtle Run Park Update–

1.) PLAY-SET Scheduled to be installed in April. A cement border has been poured and prepared for installation.

2.) BASEBALL FIELD: The Baseball diamond and dugout’s have been removed. The red clay has been removed and sodded with fresh Bermuda grass. The field is prepared for Soccer and lacrosse. The perimeter around the field will have a new 6 foot black vinyl galvanized steel fence.

3 )REST ROOMS: The Turtle Run Community Development District will be donating $30,000 for restroom renovations.

4.) BASKETBALL COURT: Will be relocated closer to Forest Glen Middle School.

5.) TENNIS COURTS: The tennis courts will be totally renovated. 2 tennis courts and 8 Pickleball courts will replace the existing tennis courts. Totally resurfaced.

6.) CURRENT PLAY-SET AREA: Canopy will be replaced existing structure will be painted. This will create a social area, a sitting area with a possibility of the addition of workout equipment.

7.) PAVER WALKWAY: Will be removed and replaced with a stamped concrete walkway with ADA compliance.

8.) PAVILION: Will be relocated closer to the sports field.

9.) BEACH VOLLEYBALL: Will remain in the current location.

Additionally,

1.) There will be a stamped concrete walkway around the entire perimeter of the park.

2.) The City is working with the school board to redo the track, football field and the entire field at the school. Removal of the existing handball courts.

3.) Lighting for the tennis courts and pickleball courts will be put in the 2026 budget for the cit of Coral Springs.

4.) The City is looking to put another set of rest rooms on the school side of the park with storage areas for city storage and equipment.

Turtle Run Park has a small pavilion available for use. Turtle Run Park also features basketball courts, a playground and more.
